As New Mexico faces an education crises, a New Mexico House panel is set to debate a measure that would take away driver’s licenses of high school students who skip class. The measure is one of many aimed at tackling the state’s high school dropout rate. New Mexico had a graduation rate in 2014 of 68.5 percent. That’s one of the lowest in the country. What do you think of this proposal? Something has to be done, LET GOD BACK IN THE CLASSROOM!

  1. I like the idea of penalizing class-skippers, but God does not belong in public schools, or on money, or on the walls of public buildings.
