ClintDewey,
Please pray for one of the best friends I have ever had!  He is also the Chairman of our church Board and a man with a Servant’s heart.
**His picture is on our website – Smithfieldcc.org – under “Our Leadership” I posted Clint’s picture here for us folks, so we can pray over him.
His name is Clint Fletcher and he was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer last Wednesday.  He will be going to KU Medical Center on Thursday for additional testing to see how far along the cancer is.  We are praying that it hasn’t reached the lymph glands yet!
I struggled to format a message last week because I was in such heartache over Clint.  On Friday morning, God gave me the message I have attached for you.
I’ll keep you informed.
Pastor Robert Lewis of Smithfield Christian Church in Carl Junction, Missouri
This week we have received several unspoken prayer requests for families and individuals, from heroin addiction, mental illness, hunger, suicide threats, and cancer. Let us pray over Clint for healing, and for all those unspoken prayer needs that God knows all about, in Jesus name, Amen!
Thousands and thousands are now praying for Clint and all those unspoken requests.

Prayer…
Prayer is the essence of the Spiritual life without which all ministry loses its meaning. It is the fulfillment of the great commandment to love the Lord with all our heart, all our soul and all our mind…..To pray is to unite ourselves with Jesus and lift up the whole world through Him to God in a cry of forgiveness, reconciliation, healing, and mercy….Most of all, prayer is the way to become and remain part of Jesus mission to draw all people to the intimacy of God’s love.” by Henri Nouwen, The Only Necessary Thing: Living a Prayerful Life
