The Burning of Ferguson, America no longer has a “Moral Code” By Pastor Dewey

Lessons From Ferguson Missouri By Pastor Paul Holt

From Monday:

News and Views-Dewey

I just got off the phone with newsman Frank Haley.  He is mourning the loss of a friend,  Matthew Grant, who was killed in an awful wreck Friday night in Albuquerque. The man driving the stolen pickup truck that rammed into the car with UNM students was smoking marijuana. How dare these fools in federal and state government legalize pot! I am sick and tired reporting on innocent lives being taken from us by drunks and drug users! And these fools have the audacity to legalize pot or even suggesting it!!!???!!! Here is Franks report: Two UNM students were killed and two other students injured in a collision involving a stolen truck Friday night…..

Briana Hillard, who was driving the sedan, died at the scene. Matthew Grant, a good friend of mine who loved Jesus, underwent surgery but died at UNM Hosp. Sat. night

Julia Thompson and Joseph Mendoza remain in critical condition.

Albuquerque police say 21-year-old Joshua Leal was driving the truck when it crashed, overturning the sedan.

Leal and a 16-year-old male passenger fled but were captured later.

Leal was booked on several charges including vehicular homicide and possession of the stolen hand gun. The boy also faces similar charges.

Let us be in  prayer for all those involved here during Thanksgiving week this is even tougher to swallow………..

We praying for healing of Julia Thompson and Joseph Mendoza.

Albuquerque, like so many cities in America are not safe.

We must pray that America Blesses God…that America returns to God and does not indulge in evil behavior such a smoking pot and drinking alcohol, it is killing innocent people!

How much is enough America?

Ephesians 5:18

And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit,

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.

Galatians 5:21

Envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 3:16-17

Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.

Proverbs 20:1

Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

Proverbs 23:29-35

Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has strife? Who has complaining? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes? Those who tarry long over wine; those who go to try mixed wine. Do not look at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup and goes down smoothly. In the end it bites like a serpent and stings like an adder. Your eyes will see strange things, and your heart utter perverse things.

Marijuana – The Devil’s Weed?

From Dewey:

It would be best if Americans realize that more and more people do not value life, they don’t care if they kill you! ….through murder, abortion, like the pot head who killed two UNM students in Albuquerque, to the man who stabbed a store clerk yesterday in Albuquerque and another murder last night in Albuquerque…to those who are shooting at fireman in Fergsuon. America better get off it’s high horse and get on it’s knees and seek God Almighty, we are destroying America under our watch! Only about 15% of America goes to Church, (WHY IS THAT CHURCH?) that equals unGodly behavior, a nation that does not know God.

“Someone has said that the marks of a strong church are wet eyes, bent knees and a broken heart. We’ll never be powerful until we let God be God and jealousy guard his honor.” Pastor Erwin Lutzer

I don’t know about you, but after I watched what was happening in Ferguson last night, especially thugs firing guns at the firemen who were trying to put out the fires, made me sick to my stomach! Spiritually sick! America is spiritually sick, it needs to re-introduce itself to God Almighty.

The answer is God, HE always is the ONLY answer.

My heart is broken for what I see happening to my country, I am weeping.

I am just sick for our grand baby that is to enter this world in February, this world we live in.

Why Does She Weep?

It is time for America to be truthful with itself, it is time the Church be truthful with God, we must seek HIM.

Lord, I love the house where you live, the place where your glory dwells. Psalm 26:8

We have so much to share with you………….we are swamped, just like many of you……..Lars is here from Chicago so we want to have family time, and with everything going on in the ministry, radio and the website I am buried! But I am buried in the glory of God! Amen! I do not know how many CUPS I will be able to serve this week, please forgive me. But please check out FGGAM.ORG    many times a day for 24/7 news and inspiration.  Here is a re-cap of the Son Broadcasting event from Friday night…………

Steve Pearce bookPastor Bill Ruhl, who is also Vice Chairman of FGGAM, attended Son Broadcasting’s Banquet last night at the Hyatt in downtown Albuquerque, Sharon and I were so very blessed to also attend and I was so super blessed to say the opening prayer, thank you Lord for that Godly honor. I have been in broadcasting since 1978, in Christian broadcasting since 1986, the Lord has trained me up to know the genuine thing, the genuine Christian broadcaster, and that is Son Broadcasting! The family of Blackie Gonzales and staff so much loves our Lord, the light that Son Broadcasting shines not only in New Mexico, but throughout the world shines brighter than ever. The love of Jesus that Son Broadcasting shows us all, is such a testimony! The Hyatt banquet room was full last night!

Here is Pastor Bill’s report from last night……..

After an evening of celebration with many friends together at the Son Broadcasting Fall Banquet, I spent the rest of the night in the Throne Room watching Jesus model how to stand before men. He refused to dignify an accusation with an argument, but honored only the Truth declaring, “It is as you say, I AM a KING!” and clarifying the world’s misunderstanding with revelation, “My Kingdom is not of this world…I came into this world to bear witness to the Truth and everyone who is of the Truth hears My voice!”
Through a number of speakers we heard the Lord say it is time for those that hear His voice to become a voice. He is looking for a flock of “gritty” sheep, who are humble enough to bow down in prayer (Pastor Dewey Moede)before their King, broken enough to operate under His Blood and in the Power of His Holy Spirit Anointing (Worshiper Carlene Prince), and not bound by fear because of the circumstances they find themselves battling against, but free to “Just Fly the Plane, Stupid!” (CongressmanSteve Pearce)
The Lord is calling us to do what we have been trained to do. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture; a flock that is to be noisy among men and follow their King, the Lord, as they break out and pass through the gate! We have been called to become a “Voice” capable of turning around the chairs of the judges, by speaking a word in season to a nation that has grown weary. Let the shofar sound (Dr. Dennis Otero) as an awakening, attentive, alarm…”Awake, awake O sleeper, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light!” Great night…not much sleep, but a great night!

Thank you for sharing Pastor Bill, Bill’s lovely angel Monica was their last night also. It was also great to see so many of our friends last night including FGGAM Board member, New Mexico Watchman Jose Vasquez and his lovely wife Miki and New Mexico Hall-of-Fame Broadcaster Frank Haley and his angel Alice. Did you know that there are only two Christian broadcasters in the New Mexico Broadcasters Hall-of-Fame? Yep, Blackie Gonzales and Frank Haley who started his radio life over 50 years ago in Texas then to New Mexico and KOB AM News/Talk  then into Christian radio having served at KFLQ FM and now at KKIM AM in Albuquerque. I strongly encourage you to support Son Broadcasting and to purchase Congressman Steve Pearce’s book! Everyone present last night got a free book courtesy of Son Broadcasting! What a speech he made last night, had not heard a politician make a speech like that in so very long! That is because Congressman Pearce is not a politician, he is a man of God. Congressman Pearce encouraged us all to be a voice for God in the world and do not grow weary, have grit! Congressman Pearce knows we are all tired of this mess we live in. It has been a long 6 years and it will be a very tough 2 years……….but have grit, faith and occupy until Jesus returns! Amen!

Son Broadcsting broadcasts on KCHF TV CH11 and KDAZ AM730 radio

Son logoY ou must listen and share, our radio program is being listened to more and more for God’s Glory Alone!

The Holy Spirit is Love. The Holy Spirit is Life. The Holy Spirit… is God. “The Spirit of God made me and the breath of the Almighty has given me life.” ( Job 33:4) God is Spirit. The third person of the Trinity, God Himself, the Spirit of Christ. The Holy Spirit is our breath, our Life, the reason for our existence. He is Love. He is active. Well, what does He do? He changes us. He transforms us. He teaches us. He brings us into a deeper relationship with God. Being God He can do this. He is Himself God, and God is Love. When we encounter the Holy Spirit in our lives, we encounter God’s Love. Put another way, when we encounter God’s Love we encounter God’s Spirit. Experiencing this, by default, changes us.

Think about how afraid the apostles were after Jesus died. They stayed in the upper room hiding, afraid they would be killed too because they were followers of Christ. The Holy Spirit comes and everything changes. Now they are fearless, bold, unafraid. They now not only are brave enough to speak to the world about Christ, they also know what to say. The Holy Spirit has given them the words, the passion, the ability and the means to spread the good news of Jesus’ life and death and resurrection. Literally, just a few minutes earlier these same men were afraid of their own shadow. Talk about power. This same power, this same Spirit is still here today. He’s not a different Holy Spirit. He’s the same one that the apostle’s received at Pentecost. This same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives within us. He is no less powerful in us. Do you really believe that? Or do you perhaps think Jesus had a different Spirit than we do? He didn’t. There is only One Holy Spirit. There is only One God and He’s here to help us overcome our fears too and give us a new passion for living His Life.

This Spirit that gave Jesus life is the same Spirit that gives us life. But too often, we don’t ask for this life. We ignore Him. We wonder why it feels like God doesn’t help us but we don’t ask Him too. God acts when we use our free will to invite Him into our lives but we don’t do it. Why not? After all as it says in Galatians 5:22-23, “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”Aren’t we all looking for these things? This is not only what the Holy Spirit desires to give us, this is what He Himself is like. God gives us Himself, so that means He is loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, generous, faithful, gentle, and has control. He sounds great but we seem to avoid Him at all costs. We just don’t want God in our lives when He’s exactly what our lives were created for.

I once heard the Holy Spirit described in comparison to chocolate milk (bear with me a minute). When making a glass of chocolate milk – the chocolate is on the bottom – it’s there, truly and fully and completely, but it’s not being utilized to its full potential until it is stirred up. Once it is shaken up, everything changes.  He’s there, truly and fully and completely, but we don’t utilize His gifts as we ought to. Sometimes we even forget that we have received Him. When we pray to God to unleash His Love within us, everything changes.

Yes the Holy Spirit may shake things up in your life but it’s all good. When we come to know God in this personal way we realize that it’s always good. The Holy Spirit is to be experienced. Just like the glass of chocolate milk, we don’t make it to just stare at it. We are called to drink it, to enjoy it, to be nourished by it. The Spirit of God is not chocolate milk. The Spirit of God is Life itself – true Life, everlasting Life! In the Holy Spirit we “live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28), and we are called to live His Life to the full, not the way the world calls us to, but the way the Spirit does, guiding us to a Life of inner peace. We go through the routine of life, figuring we are living as Christians when really – there is so much more!

So let’s not leave the Spirit sitting around at the bottom of our lives. Let’s make Him a priority, let’s stir Him up, even put Him first in our lives. Let’s ask God for this grace. Let’s give everything to the One who gave us everything – and still does today. God can breathe new life into us and give us a new enthusiasm. A fearless and powerful life of Love awaits us. Let’s shake it up and let God release His Spirit into our lives in a New Way, Today.
