Too many people will blow past this post…….This is why I will never be a popular Preacher in America, I just try to follow God and His Word everyday.
You see I am of the belief that I cannot conform God’s Ways and Word to my lifestyle, I have to conform my lifestyle to God and His Word.
I come from the school where a pig is a pig, you cannot dress up a pig.
I am not preaching hate, I am preaching the Word of God.
America has turned into a Country that if you try to hold people accountable you are called “mean spirited” or one of “hate speech”
But, the majority of Americans no longer read the Word of God, the majority of homes in America no longer have a Bible in them, only on a good Sunday… maybe 15% of America goes to Church. That is from national research companies.
Two stories prompted this post: Same sex marriage and Christmas being cancelled on a school’s calendar! This is like a nightmare!
Another blow to the sanctity of marriage: The U.S. Supreme Court ruled yesterday that same-sex marriages get the green light in Kansas.
Only if Billy Graham was 30 years younger……..he would be on the road preaching the Word and holding America accountable…..at 96 he still speaks volumes, but America as a whole has turned a deaf ear to God.
The voice of the voters is being kicked to the curb by the Supreme Court. More importantly, America continues to kick God to the curb and has the audacity to say, “God Bless America” How can God bless this mess? We kill his babies….we are turning or have turned into Sodom and Gomorrah. Please read the Word of God. Judgement awaits us all. America: BLESS GOD, turn from your wicked ways!
The American Court system continues in it’s UnGodly ways………America is spinning our of control..having no moral compass. It is not a political party with the solution, you Republicans can put away your pom-poms………it is only God.
Where is the Republican or Democrat in Washington, speaking from the Bible? I do not hear him or her. Shame…shame…..
Are these so called Christian, ashamed of their Lord?
How can people who call themselves believers in our Lord Jesus Christ avoid His Word?
Marriage was designed by God and is defined by God. Marriage is at the center of God’s purpose for mankind.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27……..when is the last time you have read into Genesis?
I pray a Congressman or women takes to the floor and reads the boom of Genesis!
God joined a MAN and WOMEN together so that they would mirror His image.
He called this union marriage.
Their ONENESS reflects the character and unity of God. Please read Matt. 19:4-6 and John 17: 22-234.
Their oneness is a living picture of this intimate relationship between Jesus Christ and His followers. Eph. 5: 22-33
Homosexual marriage is not.
It is not what you and I think, it is what God says that counts.
The nation’s highest court denied the state’s request to prevent gay and lesbian couples from marrying while Kansas fights the issue in court. The state constitution includes a provision banning gay marriage, approved overwhelmingly by voters in 2005.
“Now, this is a day to celebrate,” said Tom Witt, executive director of the gay rights group Equality Kansas.
A federal district judge last week blocked the state from enforcing its ban, saying it was in keeping with an earlier ruling by a federal appeals court that struck down bans in Oklahoma and Utah.
The judge’s ruling was supposed to go into effect Tuesday, but Justice Sonia Sotomayor temporarily put it on hold while the high court reviewed the case.
Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas would have sided with the state.
The ruling came in a lawsuit filed last month by the American Civil Liberties Union on behalf of two lesbian couples denied marriage licenses.
The legal situation was complicated in Kansas because state Attorney General Derek Schmidt filed his own case with the Kansas Supreme Court, seeking to block marriage licenses for gay couples. The Kansas court blocked further licenses while it reviewed the case and its order is still in effect, making it unclear how the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision Wednesday will be applied in individual counties.
The U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in the Kansas case came the same day a federal judge struck down South Carolina’s same-sex marriage ban as unconstitutional, opening the door to such marriages but also giving the state a week to appeal. The attorney general said he would do so immediately.
U.S. District Judge Richard Gergel, ruling in the case of a same-sex couple from Charleston who sued to be married, found South Carolina’s state constitutional ban “invalid as a matter of law.”
