The legendary British Rock & Roll band Rolling Stones became the latest group to shrug off calls for a cultural boycott of Israel by performing in Tel Aviv on Wednesday evening before an estimated 50,000 enthusiastic fans. Stones frontman Mick Jagger opened the evening by wishing the crowd “Erev tov, Hag Shavuot Semeach,” before launching into a two hour non-stop rendition of the bands 19 most popular songs. Also blowing off the BDS hype was American singer and producer Will.i.am, who came to Israel this week for a private concert at the wedding of Katia Gaydamak, daughter of Russian-born Israeli businessman Arcadi Gaydamak and to attend the birthday party of Israeli model Bar Refaeli.
