now Sheriff Rodella has been under the microscope. It was a tough several hours for Rio Arriba County Sheriff Tommy Rodella.
Late returns Tuesday night showed Rodella had lost his Democratic primary race for a second term as sheriff to a former deputy whom he had fired in 2012. Then Wednesday morning, FBI agents showed up to search his Española home.
This search apparently was sparked by Rodella’s arrest of a motorist in March.
