Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Sorry the CUP is running late, it has been very busy here!

Thank you all for your faithfulness!

Last night I was crushed by the news that the Albuquerque City Council meeting was cut short by protestors, it was like a riot, I watched the video. Albuquerque is in chaos. Please read this, I also write about the KOB Radio 770 announcers who were making fun of prayer last night at about 8:30pm live in the air last night!  Shame! They were commenting on the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that gave the approval for prayer before Town Council meetings.

Protestors Cause Albuquerque City Council To End Early

I call for a 24 hour prayer vigil over the City of Albuquerque, will you join me? Please pray for the beautiful city of Albuquerque.

Mark Richardson who writes for FGGAM.ORG sent this too me, thank you Dear Brother!

“Lord, we’re inundated today with ‘big preachers.’ And while we appreciate their gifts and ministries, I pray today for all of my brothers who are ‘little preachers.’ Help them not to be discouraged by their seeming smallness but to be faithful servants of Yours, declaring with great passion the message of the Book, in the power of the Holy Spirit. That’s what the church needs! Amen.”

Now soak this in………..This is powerful……freedom is of Jesus Christ!

Take Hold of Your Freedom

“It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery”
(Galatians 5:1, NAS).

So many people today are missing out on the freedom that God has in store for them simply because they’re always running from their adversities. They’re continually running from their challenges or difficulties, content to stay right where they are. And I know that it’s sometimes difficult to stand against the enemy. It can be uncomfortable to confront our challenges in order to take hold of freedom. But I believe that it is actually more difficult to run from our challenges than it is to stand and face them.

See, if you’ll face your challenges, then it will only be a temporary difficulty. But if you spend your whole life running from your challenges, it’s as if they never go away-like a ball and chain around your ankle, those challenges will follow you everywhere you go. But that doesn’t have to be you! Instead, stand firm on God’s promises. Declare His Word over your life. Ask God to give you wisdom and direction as you face the difficulties in your life so that you can take hold of the freedom He has prepared for you! – (Mark Koch)

FATHER, I WANTED A CAR, NOT A BIBLE
>
> A young man was getting ready to graduate from college. For many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealers showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted.
>
> As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation, his father called him into his private study, told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and how much he loved him. He handed him a beautifully wrapped gift box.
>
> Curious, but somewhat disappointed, the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible, with his name embossed in gold. Angrily, he raised his voice to his father and said, “With all your money you give me a Bible?” He stormed out of the house, leaving the Bible behind.
>
> Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old. He thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. But before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to him. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things.
>
> When he arrived at his father’s house, sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his father’s important documents and saw the Bible, new, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. His father had carefully underlined a verse, Matt 7:11, “And if ye, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Heavenly Father which is in Heaven, give to those who ask Him?”
>
> As he read those words, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words… PAID IN FULL.
