Hamas Manufacturing Missiles To Hit Tel Aviv And Jerusalem

The rocket threat to Israel from Hamas (IDF)The Times of Israel reported this week that the Islamist terror militia Hamas, which rules the Gaza Strip, has massively re-armed following the November 2012 Operation Pillar of Defense war and now has the ability to launch dozens of long-range heavy rockets on Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in a future conflict. Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was widely hailed in the Arab press for succeeding in launching weapons into central Israel in the last conflict, just as Saddam Hussein was in the First Gulf War in 1991. Subsequently, domestic production of the M-75 long range rocket has been made a top priority for Hamas, along with digging a vast network of tunnels under the Strip and into Israel which IDF sources worry will make future operations designed to halt rocket fire into Israel extremely difficult. Read More
