(Houston, TX)  —  The oldest congregation in Houston, Texas is going to stay put.  First Presbyterian Church members voted yesterday to remain with the Presbyterian Church USA after the national group decided to let local congregations decide if it wanted to ordain gay clergy.  Members voted nearly 2 to 1 to split from the group, but it fell 36 votes short of a majority to pass out of about 16-hundred votes cast.
