New-Years-2014-From-FGGAM-BIGpowerwordsWe praise God for another addition to the FGGAM line up! We are blessed to have Pastor Steve and Marcia Bockemeier of Albuquerque, NM with us! I have known Pastor Steve for years, a strong man of God, who has an angel for a wife! Here is the blessing they put before us on this first day of 2014:

Blessings to you this new year in the Lord. We pray that this coming year will bring us all closer to the Lord, and that we will experience His presence in mighty new ways and manifestations as we approach ever closer the time of His coming again.  What a precious promise this is to every believer in Jesus – no matter what the world’s situation may be we know what will ultimately take place – His return and the establishment of His kingdom on earth!  Maranatha – Come Lord Jesus!

This morning I received a special encouragement from God’s Word when reading Psalm 132: 4-5  “I will not give sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids, until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.”

While the Lord is always with us, and an ever present help in time of trouble, He also encourages us to always be seeking His place wherever we are at and in whatever situation we find ourselves.  He is telling us that indeed, we can find that place for the Lord no matter what the situation – if we will simply seek Him out.  He has promised us “And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” (Jer 29:13)  There is no reason for us to feel abandoned or alone.  He promises us a place with Him, a dwelling place where God Most High can be living in our very midst.  Oh, may we experience more of His presence in our lives – by seeking His place in our midst.

Isaiah 55:6-7
Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

All the best to you this coming year in Jesus.  Amen

Pastor Steve (and Marcia) Bockemeier
