The Washington Post is reporting on the Rocky roll outSebelius-Obama-Pelosi for Obamacare: Just over 106,000 people selected insurance plans during the health care law’s first month of open enrollment, the Obama administration announced Wednesday. A huge disaster for the battered President. Approximately 27,000 of those sign-ups came from 36 states where the federal government is running the exchange, which has been beset with technical difficulties. The additional 79,000 came through the 15 marketplaces run by states and the District of Columbia.

The numbers represent a fraction of half-million health plan enrollees that the Obama administration had initially projected, before the healthcare.gov Web site’s rocky rollout thwarted many shoppers’ attempts to sign up for insurance. Budget forecasters have previously projected that 7 million people would enroll in coverage during this year’s open enrollment period, which runs until March 31.

  1. Couple points of interest on that Pastor. One, it does not state those 106185 actually hit the buy button or simply placed the item in their shopping cart. Many a shopping cart are left at the store! Second, first payments on anyone who actually hit the ‘BUY’ button are not due until December 15; I personally consider it ‘BOUGHT’ when that first check is stroked and received by the payee!!! Third, it’s estimated that roughly 1/3rd (at a minimum) of everyone who actually hit the ‘BUY’ button & stroked a check need to be from the younger crowd to pay for the older crowd & I don’t see those numbers being reported either!!!
Not saying we’re being deceived, BUT IT SURE HAS HAPPENED BEFORE!!!!!!

  2. Also noting in Gary Bauer’s ‘American Values’ today that we were successful in signing up an additional 392,000 on Medicaid which puts zero (0) dollars into the pot necessary to pay for the ACA!
Not placing a vote for or against the Medicaid expansion; just pointing out that that is more tax dollars out of our pockets and like I said, $0.00 going into paying for the ACA!!!
