hugging 1hugging 2I got a note at about 2am this morning from my Dear Sister Sonja Haldeman who is a breast cancer survivor. Sonja and I graduated together in 1974 from Windom, Minnesota High School. We have reconnected after all these years. She has shared here journey with breast cancer here at FGGAM. Read her journey here: https://fggam.org/sonja-im-getting-ready-to-celebrate-my-10th-anniversary-of-surviving-breast-cancer/Sonja is always encouraging me, always full of life, always sharing the light of Jesus. I just love hearing from her.

Getting back to the note Sonja sent me this morning, it was asking for prayer for her friend Jamie. Sonja met Jamie when they both were getting treatment for Breast cancer. They beat the breast cancer together! Then later on Jamie came down with pancreatic cancer and beat that. Jamie, now has been diagnosed with liver cancer. I just cherish what Jamie says in this post you are about to read from her, “HUG YOUR FAMILY TIGHTER BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT TOMORROW WILL BRING”

Yesterday I ministered to a young lady who is tired, beaten down, thinking she is no good…..by the time I left she was laughing and smiling, because she saw the light of Jesus. We all need the light of Jesus, we all need to love on one another and hold each other up, many people just need a HUG! I call my HUGS, A Jesus HUG!

Read this from Jamie, Sonja tell’s me that she is such a AWESOME person, she is a single Mom with two beautiful girls……

  1. I’ll go on the hopes that if Sister Jamie doesn’t follow us here on FGGAM, Sister Sonja will see she see’s my note.
GOD BLESS you Jamie, you will be in my daily prayers. Having just gone through a bout of 3 months of radiation and chemo for stage 4 cancer myself, rather successfully we’re praying, I can understand, as I know Sister Sonja does as well, how you are feeling. Keep the faith Sister and HE will see you through HIS plan. Again, my prayers will be with you and your precious daughters each and every day!!! May HE spread HIS healing hands over you and provide you and your daughters with the strength to deal with this situation!!!
