Processing Errors Hurt Veterans

veterans-disabilityA recent article found that an audit of the New Mexico Regional Office of the VA fell short of what is expected when handling VA disability claims.  Issues such as long delay times (one case being in excess of 1000 days!), improper use of the law and inaccuracies in process all lead to a less than optimal grade for the local regional office.  Couple these problems with the thousands upon thousands of claims that are backlogged in the system and it’s easy to see why many veterans feel a sense of hopelessness when applying for VA disability.  To read the full article click this link:  https://www.santafenewmexican.com/news/local_news/article_f9e8324c-46b2-59d4-9b18-7b95157d2e37.html.

There is hope, however.  Using an advocate with a proven track record.  An advocate, such as the Justice Legal Group, who has VA accredited attorneys and whose attorneys are licensed before the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.  Our firm is dedicated to ensuring the Justice is served for our veterans.  We use our proven method to help Veterans navigate the tricky waters of the VA system.  Here are three things we do to help our veteran clients obtain success and throw off the shackles of despair when it comes to their disability claims.

1.  We analyze the claims:  Unlike service organizations, we spend time with the veteran going through each claim to see which claim is the strongest.  Those that we cannot win we discard and those that we can win we move forward with zealous advocacy.

2.  We work with other professionals:  Winning a disability claim does not happen in a vacuum.  Instead, we work closely with doctors, therapists and other professionals treating our clients to ensure that the other professionals are also serving as advocates.  We have  a network of professionals who are veterans advocates and through our cooperative approach we are able to develop the evidence necessary to prevail.

3.  We follow up:  Once we submit a claim for a veteran we monitor its progress.  If necessary, we actually go to the VA to inquire about the status.  The people at the VA are friendly and do want to see justice done.  As such, we work cooperatively with those people to maximize the claims of our clients.

Knowing how the system works is a large part of the battle.  Having practiced in Veterans law since 2007, our firm has demonstrated a high degree of success.  To us you are not a number.  You are a valued client and great American.  You protected us now it’s our turn to protect you.  That is why you need and deserve Justice—the Justice Legal Group. www.lawyershelpingwarriors.com.

Until Next Time,
