Santa Fe County Commissioners to vote on Resolution to legalize same sex-marriage

santafe county mapLet us be in prayer: The Santa Fe County Commissioners are meeting today to consider a resolution that would make same-sex marriage legal. The sponsor is openly gay Commissioner Liz Stefanics.

The Santa Fe County New Mexico Commission proposed resolution  refers to current state laws restricting same sex marriage as “antiquated” and “morally reprehensible,” and seeks action by the state legislature or courts that would make same-sex marriage legal in New Mexico.

What they are saying is that the Bible is antiquated and morally reprehensible.

Tonight the Santa Fe County Board of Commissioners will consider a resolution changing the definition of marriage.
Here’s what YOU can do:

 

1. Pray for God to guide the hearts of the commissioners and the people at the meeting concerning His purpose for marriage.

 

2. Call the County Commissioners, and ask them to stand for marriage between one man and one woman.

3. Attend the meeting at the Commission Chambers (102 Grant Avenue, Santa Fe, 87504) at 6pm* tonight Tuesday, July 30 and stand for marriage!

 

*Please note that the meeting begins at 1pm, but the resolution will be considered no earlier than 6pm, per page 5 of the public agenda. We suggest you show up early.
