Crimescenetapewsbt4We have shared in the past that New Mexico is rated one of the top states in violent crime. We pray over Albuquerque everyday, for God’s healing rains to come. Just a few days we were reporting the shooting at an Albuquerque Church, not long ago, the stabbings occurred at a church in the city, it is one violent crime after another. At the grocery store you would think you would be safe, maybe there will have to be security guards placed in this grocery store where the violent acts are occurring. Crime is a horrible problem along with mental illness, it is a heart, mind and soul problem. We here at FGGAM will continue to reach into the darkness and share the light of Jesus Christ, trying to win souls for Jesus.

I was up late last night praying over this situation.

Just thinking of this 3 year old Baby being hit by a hammer.

KOB TV reports:

Three violent crimes have occurred at one northwest Albuquerque grocery store in less than a month.

The latest happened Monday afternoon, after police said a man in a wheelchair hit a 3-year-old boy in the head with a hammer.

The suspect, Clayton Senn, is in custody.

KOB Eyewitness News 4 learned the 3 year-old boy suffered a skull fracture and is recovering at UNM Hospital.

KOB went back to the Smith’s on Golf Course and McMahon and everyone we spoke to were completely shocked because, they said, it’s one of the safest areas in Albuquerque.

Lilly Lopez just finished grocery shopping with her daughter when KOB told her about Monday’s attack and the two other incidents this month.

“It’s awful,” Lopez said.

In early June, three people were arrested following a theft and assault at the very same Smith’s.  Just a couple of days ago, police said two men stabbed and robbed a Smith’s employee. Monday’s attack left a little boy in the hospital.

But the customers KOB spoke with said it could have happened anywhere.

“You can find this kind of stuff just about anywhere. If you wait long enough, something will happen anywhere,” said Andy Hemmen.

“I don’t think anything of it. I just think that’s what our world’s become. It’s random acts of idiots. That’s all it is to it,” said Toni Amaroso, another Smith’s customer.

Although people are shocked this happened so close to home, they said they’ll continue doing business here. “I mean, you know, there’s violence everywhere so you don’t know where it’s going to happen. You don’t know when you’re going to be attacked,” added Lopez.

APD told KOB all of the recent incidents are not related and don’t reflect a pattern.

The suspect involved in Monday’s incident is undergoing a mental evaluation.

Let us be in prayer. Who are you going to tell about Jesus Christ today?

Do not be fearful of the darkness, put on the Armour of God and go forth.
