Strength For The Day…

I remember as a young girl my sister Jen would sing this song at church. I never really understood the strength she needed for her day. She had a rare bone disease and was handicapped. I didn’t understand until much later how much courage and strength it took just for her to journey the day.

This morning as I sat in the presence of God to pray, I prayed strength for the readers I knew that are going through things. Some of my friends have recently lost loved ones, some are dealing with health issues, family issues, and there is so much as God’s people we walk through. Today, let’ s thank Him for the strength for the journey.

Father, today we join our faith for Your people that need strength today. As they look to you, oh God, you will provide the strength they need. Your Word says in Psalm 29:11 The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.

No matter what the day looks like Lord, you are the provider of strength and peace. Our eyes are continually looking to the hills from whence our help cometh (Psalm 121:1). Thank you for strengthening us today. Amen

Have a blessed day beautiful people. Stay strong.
