We are praising God this morning for His ‘soft rain’ in the desert! We have had a number of bad windy days with no rain! Dust storms in Albuquerque. It is such a blessing to hear the soft rain drops fall outside my office!

The word Blessed comes from the Greek word, “MAKARIOS”….that which is of the highest good.
It means “God-Like Joy”….it is the kind of joy that religious leaders of that day believed, could only be experienced by God.
It is the kind of joy that is not affected by external circumstances. It is untouchable and serene.
