This story breaks my heart. Navy veteran Phillip Williams returned home after having surgery in Florida to find that his home in West Hempstead, N.Y. had been torn down. Town officials said the house was a “dilapidated dwelling” unfit for habitation, so they had the house demolished. Come on now, While Williams was in the hospital? Williams had lived in the home since he was six months old. He said many of the items in the home had been in his family since he was a baby. He lost all of his clothing and a bicycle he had just purchased.  Where is the common sense in this? This stinks to “high heaven” More Here

This is no way to treat anybody!
