UPDATED SUNDAY! HELL ON EARTH: Police in Albuquerque are investigating whether the ambush shooting deaths of Four Muslim men over the past nine months could be connected

UPDATE:

My heart is beyond broken……….murder in Albuquerque is out of control. Lawlessness covers Albuquerque. Who would ever want to be a Police Officer here? Satan is having his way with so very many here. We will pray on! Team Jesus!

I watched the Albuquerque Police Departments press conference on Facebook yesterday after fourth killing of a Muslim man. I could hear the sadness and extreme frustration in the voice of the police spokesman. The Muslim community is under great danger here. My heart is more than broken with all the killings in Albuquerque. Crime is completely out of control.

Governor bolsters state police presence in Albuquerque after killing of fourth Muslim man

Aug 6, 2022 | Press Releases

ALBUQUERQUE – Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced on Saturday that she will send additional state police to Albuquerque after a Muslim man was killed on Friday. The death is the fourth murder of a Muslim man in Albuquerque in recent months, and police believe they may be connected.

“I am angered and saddened that this is happening in New Mexico, a place that prides itself on diversity of culture and thought. This is not who we are,” said Gov. Lujan Grisham. “We will not stop in our pursuit of justice for the victims and their families and are bringing every resource to bear to apprehend the killer or killers — and we WILL find them. In addition, we will continue to do everything we can to support to the Muslim community during this difficult time. As Mr. Assed of the Islamic Center of New Mexico said earlier today: hate will not win.”

Additional state police will be on patrol in Albuquerque, and they are working in close coordination with the Albuquerque Police Department and FBI to provide whatever support is necessary.

Albuquerque police confirmed another Muslim man was killed last night. His identity has not been released. Police believe the killing may be connected to the Monday shooting death of Muhammad Afzaal Hussain, as well as the murder of Aftab Hussein on July 26 and Mohammad Ahmadi in November 2021.

Anyone with information on these crimes should call Crime Stoppers at 505-843-STOP or the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.

From this past week:

My testimony in part is this: Years ago Pastor Mark Tross of Albuquerque told me, “You say things that others wish they could say.” That was when I was managing KKIM Christian Radio in Albuquerque and hosting New Mexico News and Views. Mark said those words to me because I was getting hit with attacks at that point. I was discouraged. Mark’s words meant so much to me, they encouraged me so much that day and to this day here in August of 2022 as FGGAM celebrates 10 years of service to God. We will never be popular in this world, even with many pastors, but we will carry on with God and bring the news from a Biblcial Worldview, not a political worldview or a Chamber of Commerce view. God has increased my boldness during these dark times.

Hell On Earth!

Albuquerque is totally unsafe! Politicians and leaders in the community should be very honest and outspoken how dangerous the city and surrounding area has become. You can put the Chamber of Commerce’s lip stick on a pig, but it is still a pig. The city is lost at this point. We report news from a Biblical Worldview.  Violence is increasing in so many ways. I get neighborhood alerts through my phone, and of late, reports of gunfire and people screaming are increasing, got another one early early this morning. Our heroes, the police stand no chance against this hell, they are way understaffed and cannot be everywhere. It so unsafe for God’s babies here, as abortions continue up to birth! BUT HEY! New Mexico has $40 million in revenue from Pot Sales. AND The city now has a statue downtown of Meth-Makers from a TV show! YES! Let us glorify meth and crime in a city that is full of METH! Satan is having his way with so many here. How about a statue of JESUS?

UPDATE! Two More Killings Overnight In Albuquerque

Why is Albuquerque full of evil?

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4: 17, 18.

The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.

From this Week:

This makes me sick! Making money off of pot which causes many health issues! Do the research people! We have posted for years here at FGGAM about the bad effects of recreational pot. New Mexico also passed a bill for home delivery of booze!! This state government loves feeding addictions! Shame! There’s no brain work in selling drugs in this state or nation!

WE ARE LAST OR ALWAYS NEAR THE BOTTOLM IN EDUCATION! LAST OR ALWAYS NEAR THE BOTTOM IN WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN! ALWAYS LAST OR NEAR THE BOTTOM IN CHILD HUNGER!!!

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham

Big news: New Mexico cannabis sales hit a record high in July, totaling over $40 million!
July sales topped every previous month including April, New Mexico’s first month of legalized recreational cannabis sales – and this is only the beginning.
We’ve established a new industry that is already generating millions of dollars in local and state revenue and will continue to generate millions more in economic activity across the state, creating thousands of jobs for New Mexicans in communities both small and large.

Here is a popular post from 2019 at FGGAM from our Dear Brother in Christ Chuck Akeley of Albuquerque:

The Marijuana Emergency

How Pot Effects Your Mind and Body

“Legalization” Of Marijuana In New Mexico – Is This Really A Good Idea?

In our country and yes, our state, it has become almost fashionable to support the growth and use of marijuana, whether for medicinal use or recreational use.  So much so, that even our state executive and many legislators consider government sanctioned and controlled distribution of marijuana to be a worthy effort as means to acquire tax dollars.  Let’s consider some of the well-established issues facing New Mexico.  For many years, we’ve been rated at the bottom or almost the bottom for quality of education, children living in poverty, drug use (e.g., opioid use), drug trafficking (I-40, I-10, I-25 and the southern border corridors) and DWI offenders (including the associated deaths).  Is there really wisdom in enhancing these issues by creating a culture of “legalized” use of marijuana here in New Mexico?

A wise man once told me that if you have any doubt as to whether to do or say something, then ask yourself, would you look to Jesus and say “Lord, I do this thing as unto You” or “Lord, I give You thanks for this which I am about to do.”  If the answer is no, then why are you doing it?  Would you ask Jesus to bless your firing up of a joint or bowl or eating of a laced edible so that you would experience a high?  The scripture says we should seek His wisdom.  According to Proverbs 4:7, “[w]isdom is the principal thing; [t]herefore get wisdom [NKJV].”  Ephesians 5:15-21 instructs us to walk in wisdom:  “[s]ee then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.  Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.  And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ [NKJV].”  Just because we CAN do something doesn’t necessarily mean we SHOULD do something.

My background includes a few years as a Special Agent with the USAF Office of Special Investigations, during which much of the training involved drug enforcement.  I spent the first year after completing the initial academy leading the Travis AFB, CA Joint Drug Enforcement Team and subsequently worked for several years at Holloman AFB, NM participating in drug enforcement operations with the other agents.  Once you have strapped on the equipment and executed a few warrants, you tend to develop a very different perspective about “low level drug use,” as the small amounts of drugs came from someone who was probably not your next door neighbor, and that person’s drugs came from a trafficker – a very dangerous person.  The perspective that I’m not hurting anyone is a big lie.  It is not surprising to me that the military and local or state police have had to lower standards in order to acquire acceptable cadets.  Today, our children and youth often do things as a result of cultural or peer influences which can devastate future employment opportunities.  How much worse it is when our children’s parents are the ones modeling this behavior?  I thank God that our Lord is forgiving and merciful, and am reminded that we are called to forgive others and to help guide our friends, family and others unto salvation and into their God-given destiny!

It’s interesting to hear discussions about “legalizing” recreational use of marijuana at the state level.  If a state allows something that is forbidden at the federal level, it is not really legal, but what is happening is that the federal government has elected, as a matter of enforcement discretion, to refrain from seeking prosecution under certain circumstances and the state has elected to ignore existing federal code or statutes.  The federal Controlled Substances Act (“CSA”), 21 USC 812, establishes five schedules of controlled substances, identified as Schedules I, II, III, IV and V.  Schedule I lists substances that have been determined to have:  1) a high potential for abuse; 2) no currently accepted medical use in treatment in the United States; and 3) a lack of accepted safety for use of the drug or substance under medical supervision.  The psychoactive substance in marijuana, tetrahydrocannabinol (“THC”), remains to this day a listed Schedule I substance.  Because of this, many states have struggled with the medicinal and recreational use of marijuana and declare legality, when in point of fact, what is occurring is simply enforcement discretion at the federal level and a glaring lack of willingness of the federal government to take a solid position one way or the other.

There is MUCH remaining to be said about this issue, including the increasing levels of THC in modern-grown marijuana plants provided by dispensaries and technologically-advanced illicit grows, the lack of clear means for law enforcement to easily determine the degree of driving impairment compared to determining alcohol impairment, the effect that such has or may have on us developmentally, mentally and physically, the wisdom and procedure for assuring sound regulatory controls at the federal and state level – and assuming this issue isn’t going away quickly, the spiritual implications of encouraging, yet another mind altering substance for use by our residents, demonstrating yet again, the wisdom of man in the face of the wisdom of God.

Father, in the name of Jesus, I ask that You would speak to the hearts of those in a position to encourage, allow, regulate and/or spend tax dollars on marijuana matters in our beautiful State of New Mexico (and across this nation).  Give us ears to hear and eyes to see what is the will of God.  May wisdom guide our discussions and determinations, with a mighty hedge of protection over all who are doing Your will and serving Your people, in light of this challenge.  But regardless, help us to always love.  Always.  Amen.

Albuquerque, New Mexico

From Today:

Is New Mexico ‘Luke Warm’ about JESUS? Is New Mexico Anti-Life? Is Albuquerque Turning into Gotham City?

Charles Spurgeon warned that “Hell is filled with almost-saved people.”
From Brother Stephen Alfaro of Albuquerque: Brother Dewey you have definitely hit the nail on the head . This city which I call home is unfortunately sounding more and more like a godless city we read of in the book of Genesis. Albuquerque has become Sodom and Gomorrah incarnate . It’s very sad to see the impending doom of a godless community. Lord help us

Why is the World full of evil?

“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. Phil Cooke: Although Americans still overwhelmingly identify as “Christian,” startling percentages of the nation embrace ancient errors condemned by all major Christian traditions. These are not minor points of doctrine, but core ideas that define Christianity itself. The really sad part? Even when we’re denying the divinity of Christ, we can’t keep our story straight. Americans talking about theology sound about as competent as country singers rapping. Why We Need to Start Preaching and Teaching the Basics of Christianity

So many are praying for change in New Mexico and America, but have you ever stopped to think about why your prayers may not be answered? Unanswered prayers

Do you think America is pro-life? Is your state? Is your Church? Here in New Mexico a cloud of death hangs over us….Even the GOP candidate for governor in New Mexico is weak on his stance about abortion. And this! Albuquerque honors mythical meth-makers with statue: Albuquerque Meth Makers. I would also add that New Mexico is becoming a more violent state day by day, with murders. Homicide victim ID’d as accomplished UNM grad  Albuquerque’s murder rate is surging Albuquerque Murder Rate is 7th Highest in America gun fire is heard in our area almost every night, I get the reports on my phone. More videos show deadly shooting at West Side Albuquerque party. Children being murdered. Horrific Child Murder Case in New Mexico.  New Mexico is known as the abortion capital in America. The Abortion Battle in America. Children are being abuse by parents, drug abuse, now the state has legalized pot. Pot Emergency, homelessness, drunk driving, home delivery of booze, gun fights, robberies and on and on. I am so very frustrated with New Mexico. It is a failing state. It was bad when we moved here in 1995, and has gotten worse. Do you think the majority of New Mexicans beleive in God? Many may be ‘luke warm’ about Jesus, as only 6% of Americans and 37% of pastors have a Biblical Worldview. All these horrible issues I state above, are all anti-life. A couple of years ago a pastor and his family moved out of New Mexico, and shortly afterwards the pastors wife posted on Facebook, “We tried to make a difference in New Mexico, but it is a hard state.” Evangelism in New Mexico is like dripping water on cement, it eventually cracks…maybe. Putting on the armor and joy of God is a must everyday for me and having friends that speak Proverbs 16:24 over me and Sharon is a godsend.
Here is a note from out friend Debra Scott in Albuquerque from this morning: Has anyone else noticed that Albuquerque is turning into Gotham City? My former neighbors were walking their dogs in the foothills and some lunatic threatened to kill her. I just had to find a lady and her son a ride to joy junction because the police dropped her off in front of our hotel. Which is ridiculous because we were sold out and our rooms go for 277 a night. And the other night, there was an explosion. Geez!
I love this! FGGAM is all about shining the light of JESUS to one person at a time, you need to start in your own home.
The famed British Evangelist Gipsy Smith used to ask his audience, “Do you really want to see a revival begin?” When the people said yes, Gipsy replied, “Then go back to your home and draw a circle around you on the floor. Then get down on your knees in the middle of the circle and ask God to convert everybody inside that circle. When you do that, and God answers, you are experiencing the start of revival.”
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and New Testament are the inerrant, inspired, and infallible Word of God.
FGGAM STATEMENT OF FAITH:
