The Bible is not like any other book: it breathes, sings, and weeps; it is alive in the power that it possesses. Whether penned by the Apostles, spoken by the mouth of Jesus, or recorded on scrolls by the Old Testament prophets, God calls these inspired utterances the Word of God. The Word of God is absolute perfection; though the Scriptures were written by men, the words were inspired by God and declared completely infallible.
The Bible also speaks of God’s wonderful character. Jesus is called the Word of God in John 1:1-3; this comparison links together the character of Jesus and the character of the Bible.
Both Jesus Christ in His humanity and the Bible have come from God. They both live for eternity, absolutely unchanging lights for dark places. They bear elements of humanity and are given authority by God.
For 70 Years the National Day of Prayer Was Held at the U.S. Capitol Building. Not This Year
Christian Defense Coalition director Rev. Patrick Mahoney has been denied a permit to hold a prayer service at the U.S. Capitol during the National Day of Prayer on Thursday May 6, 2021. The U.S. Capitol building has been closed to the public since the day protestors breached the doors of the building back in January 2021, an incident that left five people dead and over 140 injured.
Rev. Patrick Mahoney: ‘Deeply Troubling’
Rev. Patrick Mahoney said, “For 70 years, there has been a public witness on the National Day of Prayer at the U.S. Capitol Building. Until today! Our request to have prayer service was denied.” He asked for people to pray for God’s wisdom moving forward. More Here

In this anniversary year when we are celebrating the 70th National Day of Prayer observance, seven decades of American Presidents, by law, calling for prayer for our nation, it would be easy to rest on our laurels, but we cannot!
