The dysfunction of the states number one educational facility is a reflection of the state of the state of New Mexico.
The sports programs at UNM have burned enough of taxpayers money! In fact, the entire University is a money pit. It is a very sad state of affairs that I have reported on for years on the radio and now here at FGGAM. But nothing changes. They keep doing the same stupid things over and over. New Mexico struggles in so many ways, and for UNM to spend money like there is no tomorrow is tragic. I pray that Godly wisdom would prevail over UNM. The ungodly behavior of UNM regarding Baby parts and abortions, the lack of ethics in the spending of money in the athletic department, signing coaches to outlandish contracts..all this is showing no respect for the people of New Mexico.
I also think it is really strange that they have changed the name of the HISTORIC PIT two times now! This is also tied to MONEY!! The hunger for cash prevails at UNM. Cash over everything else.
To much turn over in the Presidents chair!
How can the leaders of this state continue to stand behind this money pit?
Common sense, or as I call it, Godly sense, needs to prevail at UNM.
Someone needs to stand up for the average Joe like you and me.
We are feeding this dysfunctional University with our tax dollars.
I think EGO has overtaken UNM.
EGO stands for Edging God Out! In fact, you could say, and rightfully so, EGO has overtaken Washington D.C.
About the Board of Regents…how about some common folk on that board? How come these positions always go to the people “in the loop”?
New Mexico has so many retreads in politics and high positions. Why not common folk? Not politicians. Shake it up!
Here at FGGAM we are not tied to a political party, we are tied to God.
Politics is ungodly.
It is so very sad that so many children in this state only get one good meal a day, and UNM spends so foolishly on sports. Child poverty is not being addressed in this state. I would rather have the powers at be take my tax dollars and spend it on the well being of children.
New Mexico taxpayers, you are being taken for a ride.
