Take a Stand for Santa Fe and New Mexico.

Santa Fe is the City of Holy Faith

Elected official here, however, have chosen to declare, without legal authority, that same-sex “marriage” is legal for the entire state. Last Wednesday two-dozen homosexual couples paraded before the Santa Fe City Council declaring their love for each other and to demanding their right to “marry.”

Group protested boisterously when the obvious was stated: Marriage between two people of the same sex is not equal to the marriage of one man and one woman.

The Christian community has an opportunity to respond at the next scheduled meeting of the City Council on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. Testimony for traditional marriage will be allowed at that time. (The item on the agenda appears as “Petitions from the Public”.)

If Santa Fe is to remain the City of Holy Faith, our public officials must hear from the Christian Community. Please attend the 7:00 p.m. City Council meeting at City Hall. Santa Fe’s City Hall is at 200 Lincoln Ave. at Federal Place (across from the Federal Court House.)

Remember that the City Council has heard vociferously and enthusiastically that homosexual “marriage” is a right and that, absent an argument to the contrary, it should be assumed to be legal in New Mexico.

Please pray for our public officials, especially Mayor Coss and Councilor Patti Bushee, who introduced this Resolution.

Join us for the Prayer Circle at 6:30 p.m.
