From Pastor Jim Garlow: Attention Pastors: Are you aware that you might be sued for “consumer fraud” when you teach that the power of the Gospel can set a person free from something the Bible labels as a sinful practice? It’s already happening.

Highly respected San Diego attorney Charles LiMandri, president of the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund (consciencedefense.org), is representing Jews Offering New Alternatives for Healing (JONAH) that is being sued by militant gay activists who charge that JONAH violated New Jersey’s Consumer Fraud Act by claiming that their counseling services could cure clients of being gay.

LiMandri points to the significance of the case: If these gay activists win, he believes they will likely start suing Evangelical, Catholic and other faith-based organizations involved in trying to help homosexuals become free from same-sex attraction.

Campaigners embrace during a demonstration for a "yes" vote to allow gay marriage, as they protest outside Parliament in London
