(Denver, CO) — What has America become? I hardly recognize my Country anymore! Drunk drivers on the road and now stoned drivers, shame on us! CDOT is officially launching its “Drive High, Get a DUI” campaign. It was unveiled yesterday. It consists of a series of TV and radio ads, as well as a poster campaign at marijuana shops. Officers have been trained in how to spot drivers who have been smoking marijuana. Colorado State Patrol cited dozens of people in January alone for driving while stoned. Legal recreational pot sales started in Colorado on January 1st.
