The search for survivors in Tibet and Nepal continues after hundreds of people were killed in flash floods.
More than 900 people are missing and at least 389 have died in Nepal, while three people are confirmed to have been killed in Tibet and more than 550 are unaccounted for. However, it’s not clear if these figures overlap.
A woman from Kent says she has been unable to contact her sister, who was near the Nepal-Tibet border when devastating flash flooding hit.
“We are really hoping that people hear us and try to find [my sister],” she says.
The glacial collapse, which is believed to have caused the flash floods, happened on the Nepal side of the Himalayan mountains, according to what Nepalese officials have told the BBC.
