I wanted to take note of a wonderful man of God who is celebrating his 40th birthday today — Cowboy Clarence Montoya of Socorro, New Mexico! I have known Cowboy for many years, about 22 years I believe. We first met at an ‘Arc of New Mexico’ event. I served on the board at that time. Over the years, I have had Clarence on my TV program ‘Dewey and Friends’ on KAZQ TV and on KKIM radio. Cowboy is still with us here at FGGAM, always praying for someone or about some important matter.
This past year has been tough for Clarence and his family, as his dad, George, passed away. George was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Please keep Clarence and his mom, Anita, and his sisters in your prayers.
The two most wonderful prayers warriors I have met in my life are Clarence and 99-year-old Clara Nelson of Windom, Minnesota, who has been ill. Please keep her and her family in your prayers.

Once again, Happy Birthday dear Clarence. Cowboy is wheelchair bound, but get this, I will never forget what he told me once on KAZQ TV when I asked you about his disability: “Dewey, everyone has a disability.” That got my attention and the attention of many others. Spot on brother! I speak of that often when I preach. Think about it folks.
What is a Prayer Warrior? According to Got Questions: Although the phrase “prayer warrior” is not found in Scripture, a prayer warrior is generally thought of as a Christian who prays continually and effectively for others in the manner of praying taught in Scripture. Therefore, prayer warriors pray to Father God (Matthew 6:9) in the power of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 3:16; Jude 1:20) and in the name of Jesus (John 14:13). To be a warrior in prayer is to engage in the spiritual battle and fight the good fight of faith wearing the full armor of God and “pray[ing] in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests” (Ephesians 6:10-18).
