Very, very interesting to see this story calling for Church unity! The Lord had me post this today, as division is rampant in America, including the Church.

I offered up this prayer this morning to our Lord at 3:00 AM as soon as I saw that the wonderful governor of Montana was seeking our Lord. Our daughter Gretchen lives in Great Falls, Montana, where she works as a Respiratory Therapist. We also have friends in Sidney, Montana, Craig and Anita Price, where I started my radio career of 42 years. My radio buddy from WLOI/WCOE in LaPorte, Indiana, Jay Scott, also lives in Montana.

Oh Lord, I pray for more leaders like Montana Governor Greg Gianforte who seek You. Oh Lord, we pray along with Governor Gianforte and all of the people of Montana for rain. Oh Lord, so many parts of America are drying up and are on fire, and some areas are running out of water. We pray for the safety of all the firefighters and all those in harm’s way. Oh Lord, I pray that all Americans repent of our sins. We murder your babies through abortions and expect to be blessed. Lord, I pray for clear minds for those who support the killing of your babies. We are a nation of great sins. I am tired Lord of all the evil in America, all the hate and division, even in Your Church. We are no longer one people, as we are so very, very divided. Every day Lord, I pray for leaders who will bring godly unity to America. Lord, I am so thankful this morning that I can come to You with my great sadness and talk with You. I always put myself and my family in Your hands of love and care forever and ever. I pray in Your Almighty and Loving name, thank You Jesus. Amen.

Pastor James E. Ward Jr. believes the growing political, theological and cultural fractures inside the Church reveal something deeper than denominational disagreement: a spiritual crisis that can only be healed through repentance and surrender to God.

“The cultural issues of our day, the sociopolitical issues of our day, have infected the Church, which has then affected the Church’s ability to be salt and light to define society and us shaping culture,” Ward, pastor and founder of INSIGHT Church near Chicago, told The Christian PostMore Here
