Noem lost me a longtime ago when she shot and killed her doggy. ABUSE!!! HORRIBLE! She also killed a goat! What was she thinking!!!! After her grilling on Capitol Hill, her firing does not surprise me at all. In my mind she failed greatly. At one time, I had high hopes for her as she did a good job as governor of South Dakota. I was concerned when Trump made her the head of Homeland Security, as it seemed to me she did not have the expertise to tackle the job.

President Donald Trump on Thursday fired his embattled Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, after mounting criticism over her leadership of the department, including the handling of the administration’s immigration crackdown and disaster response.
Trump, who said he would nominate in her place Oklahoma Republican Sen. Markwayne Mullin, made the announcement on social media two days after Noem faced a grilling on Capitol Hill from GOP members as well as Democrats. More Here
