Red Hearts For Matthew 1:21…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Wednesday on the first Wednesday of February 2026. What a great month it will be. February is love month. Everywhere you look this month you will see red hearts, chocolates and lots of exchanges of love. Yesterday, I visited some friends, and they had purchased a big, heart-shaped box of chocolates to celebrate.

As I sat on my sofa chatting with a friend last evening, I felt a piece of paper in behind the cushion. I reached in to pull it out and it had two scriptures written on it by my grandson, Emmett. It sure fills this grandmother’s heart with joy this morning as I look at this white lined piece of paper. Joshua 1:9 and Matthew 1:21 were written on it. An arrow beside Matthew 1:21 and the words Christmas verse underneath. As I reviewed the verse, well let’s read it together this morning. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. I am glad for that. I am blessed by that verse every single day. It’s a gift with red hearts all over it. It’s a Christmas verse and a verse for every day as we journey life with him. Are you thankful today for Jesus today? It’s where love all began…

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you for Matthew 1:21. Thank you for Jesus. Thank you for your agape love.

Father, 1 Corinthians 13 tells us what love is. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. (verses 4-7) And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (verse 13)

Father, thank you for love. Thank you for perfecting love in our hearts in Christ Jesus. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Red hearts for Jesus! Red hearts for Matthew 1:21.
