The Associated Press (“AP News”) reports that the United Nations Security Council today (11/17/2025) approved a U.S. plan for the Gaza Strip which authorizes an International Stabilization Force (“ISF”), as addressed in Item No. 15 of U.S. President Donald J. Trump’s initial ’20-Point Ceasefire Plan’ from earlier this year.
The ISF would provide security in the devastated Gaza Strip and would help create a potential path to an independent Palestinian state. For its part, Russia, which had circulated a rival United Nations resolution, abstained along with China on the 13-0 vote.

My brothers and sisters, the Hamas/Israel situation is clearly a matter that is not going to resolve solely based on the ‘goodwill of the parties’ involved, as the hatred of the Jewish people by Hamas and the Palestinian people has been, and presumably remains, strong.
Israel has every reason to believe that Hamas has no intention to suddenly become good neighbors and lay down its arms in an effort to assure a stable and peaceful ‘two-state solution’. Hamas has already shown little willingness to step away from ‘governing’ the people of the Gaza Strip, and there seems to be little chance, absent the very intervention of God Almighty, that Israel would be willing to accept a governance involving Hamas – which is an established terrorist organization sworn to destroy Israel and the Jewish people.
Let’s remember what the Bible has to say about God’s chosen people and Israel!

The world is suffering from the scourge of evil brought on by the false god of Islam. According to the Bible, Satan is the deceiver of the whole world and he comes to steal, kill and destroy.

Let’s pray for a move of God that causes all parties, including Hamas, to see the benefits of working together for peace, no matter how difficult and unlikely it may seem in today’s on-the-ground, worldly situation. Father, we know that You made every person, including the Palestinian people, in Your image and likeness, and that it is Your will for ALL to come unto salvation!
