“Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.” — Psalm 103:2
LORD, on this 79th birthday, I pause to remember Your countless mercies. You have granted me breath for nearly eight decades, strength to serve, and joy in proclaiming Your Word, the Gospel, since 1981. Through valleys and victories, You have proven Yourself faithful. I thank You for my family, for my friends, for the body of Christ, Your Church, and for the overwhelming privilege of pastoring full-time even to now and prayerfully continuing if You feel I am effective. May my remaining days on earth be marked by deeper gratitude, stronger faith, and renewed zeal to lift high the majestic name of Jesus Christ. I confess that every blessing has come from Your hand, and I dedicate this milestone not to myself, but to Your glory. “Great is Thy faithfulness, LORD, unto me.” In the Glorious and Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, Hallelujah and Amen!
Closing Thought for You, the Reader: As I celebrate this day, I invite you to join me in counting your own mercies. Let us not take lightly the gift of life, the call to serve, and the hope of eternity. May thanksgiving rise from our lips daily, until it becomes the very rhythm of our lives. May Father bless you even more on my special day. Pray On!
