The Christian Broadcasting Network (“CBN”) report that in a joint operation with the United States, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made good on his promise to strike back at the Houthis in Yemen for launching surface-to-surface missiles and drones toward Israel and its civilians, with a missile landing close to Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday (5/4/2025).

In a video posted on social media site ‘X’, Netanyahu stated that Israel’s goal is the defeat of Hamas and the return of the hostages, writing:

“One thing will be clear:  there will be no in-and-out. We’ll call up reserves to come, hold territory – we’re not going to enter and then exit the area, only to carry out raids afterward. That’s not the plan. The intention is the opposite.”

On May 4, 2025, Prime Minister Netanyahu posted his agreement with U.S. President Donald J. Trump regarding the need to hold the Islamic Republic of Iran responsible for the actions of the Houthis on social media site ‘X’:

CNN is also reporting on this matter HERE, writing that shortly before the Israeli strikes, media in Yemen reported strikes carried out by the United States near the capital, Sanaa.  The Houthi-run Saba News Agency said the U.S. strikes included two on Arbaeen Street in the capital and the airport road, blaming them on “American aggression.”

According to multiple social media and mainstream news sites, Israel’s attacks are continuing today (5/6/2025).

Additionally, All Israel News is reporting that, overnight, the Israel Defense Forces (“IDF”) also attacked a Hezbollah weapons factory in Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley, preventing Hezbollah from reestablishing operations.

My brothers and sisters, there is more Israel-related news happening right now than can be succinctly reported in one FGGAM article.  The takeaway for this writer is that Hamas (and by extension, the Houthis, Hezbollah and Iran) has not repented of its actions in any way, shape or form, as evidenced by Hamas’ continuing holding of hostages and its unwillingness to come to the recognition that its days of attacking Israel are over.

Evidence is mounting that Prime Minister Netanyahu is preparing, in coordination with the United States, a major assault in Gaza to once-and-for-all finish off Hamas.  It is clear that this is absolutely necessary in order to establish peace for all and security for Israel.

Let’s pray that the apparently forthcoming military mission in Gaza is successful, with minimal loss of life for the Palestinians caught in the middle and for the warring parties.  We should never forget that every person, Palestinian, Jew or otherwise, is made in the image and likeness of God, and that it is the will of God for all to be saved and reconciled unto the Father!

1 Timothy 2:4-6 (NKJV)
God Desires All To Be Saved
“[God our Savior] desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all…”.

Praise Jesus forevermore!
