All Church Doors Open!

Good morning beautiful people. Happy Monday! Wow, I had a few days rest and some good laughs on my recent days away. I laughed yesterday at the beautiful church I attended. The door was open and caught my attention in this rather older church with stained glass windows. I decided that would be where I would attend. The people were most welcoming to me, and I loved the Word that was brought forth by a man filling in for the Pastor. He told the story of how God turned Saul into Paul. Great message. There were three children in attendance yesterday as the congregation was primarily elderly. Those three children brought some laughs. The children’s worker brought them forward to the front and shared a story about King David. She told them he was kind, helpful and opened doors for others. She asked if any of them held the door open for someone. One child said at home he had. One little guy spoke up and said he held the door open at another church down the road for a very long time. Of course it was a different denomination. I chuckled, as she said be careful what you ask, I guess. One child said he saw cows, and the worker inquired if he was calling her a cow. I don’t think I will forget that meeting as I looked at the stained-glass window of Jesus with the children. Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Let’s Pray:

Father, let every church door be open around the world for your people. Every denomination has different traditions, different by-laws, membership guides, etc. but you God are calling people to the open door. Draw them to the church you would have them attend; we pray. For you said it is not by might nor by power but by your spirit. (Zechariah 4:6)

Father, we pray for every children’s program around this globe today. May the Word of the Lord go deep in their hearts, we pray. Draw these sweet children we see on the stained glass windows. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
