The Holy Spirit provides love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. (Gal. 5:22-23)
Pause and ponder the areas of your life that may be lacking in one or more aspects of the Spirit’s fruit and take time to pray and surrender your emotions, your habits, any pride, anger, unforgiveness, or other obstacle in your life that keeps the Spirit from strengthening and completing you in that area of your life.
Remember, we must surrender that space in our lives and invite God to be the Lord of every area of our lives not just our Savior after death to enter heaven. As Christians we confess our sin and profess our faith in Jesus and ask God to be our Lord and Savior as we commit to pray and live life for Him and His purposes while we are on earth knowing we will spend eternity with Him in heaven. Knowing that we could never accomplish this life on our own, our Everlasting Father has given us the Holy Spirit (Luke 11:13) and we not only live by the Spirit but walk by the Spirit (Galatians 5:25).
Commit today to live your life abounding in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit!
