WEDNESDAY MORNING UPDATE! ALL HELL HAS BEEN BROKEN LOOSE IN ABQ! Deadly Carjacking, Woman Dead After Shooting Near Albuquerque Fire Station.

KRQE News 13 (Albuquerque, NM) reports that the Albuquerque Police Department (“APD”) is investigating two shooting events and a related vehicle crash following a callout to Montgomery Park at approximately 3:30 AM this morning (3/11/2025) in northeast Albuquerque.

APD investigators report that an elderly mother and her two adult children were in a car in a church parking lot when a suspect approached and shot the son and his mother.  The daughter escaped unharmed; however, the son has reportedly died of his injuries.

The suspect then stole the vehicle and subsequently crashed it into a Jeep on Montgomery Boulevard NE.  Following the crash, the suspect had an altercation with the security guard of a nearby apartment complex.  The security guard then shot and killed the suspect.

Montgomery Boulevard NE, between Marla Drive NE and Andrew Drive NE, was closed all morning due to the ongoing police investigation.

My brothers and sisters, the carnage continues here in Albuquerque.  The danger in this city, and much of New Mexico, is REAL.  I’m reminded of the old expression that ‘nothing good happens in Albuquerque after midnight.’

The influence of Satan in greater Albuquerque is clear, with continual (and sometimes daily) shootings, murders, thefts, car jackings, drug dealing/use, sex workers and human trafficking – to name a few.

As FGGAM’s Co-Founder, Pastor Dewey Moede, has been writing about for years now, New Mexico needs JESUS!  The answer will never be more of the ‘wisdom of the world’ – no matter how well-meaning our city, county and state leaders’ intentions may be.  We must not allow evil to wear us down to the point we stop praying and seeking the wisdom of God.

The Bible reminds us not to grow wearing in doing the work and the will of the Lord:

Galatians 6:9 (NKJV)
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”

The Bible reminds us that we are called to pray and that God answers our prayers:

Philippians 4:6 (NKJV)
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God…”.

Matthew 21:22 (Amplified Bible)
“And whatever you ask for in prayer, believing, you will receive.”

Matthew 18:18-19 (NKJV)
“Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.  Again[,] I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.”

Praise Jesus forevermore!
