When I saw this report my heart just sunk…….I am so sick of what is happening to Ukraine! So many in America have become blinded to the evil of PUTIN! Such a downright shame!

Right now America is hanging Ukraine out to dry. Does America not know that God is watching? What is wrong with you America? God’s people are being murdered. Let the hate begin against me…..I am used to it.

I am sick and tired of American politics. I have stated for years that politics is the playground of Satan! This more than confirms it! I hear crickets from so many Pastors in America about this slaughter! Reminds me of how silent the Church was when Hitler started to kill.

I am so very, very thankful for the Baptist Press in bringing this to our attention! The Baptist Press does an excellent work in keeping God’s people informed!

OSLO, Norway (BP) – Russia seriously violates religious freedom in the land it illegally occupies in Ukraine, Forum 18 said in a new report.

Torturing and killing pastors and priests, prosecuting residents for exercising religious freedom, banning worship and entire religious communities, closing churches, prosecuting missionaries and banning Scripture as extremist literature are among the most egregious atrocities Forum 18 cited in its March religious freedom survey of occupied Ukraine.

The survey echoes findings from the U.S. Department of State in its latest (2023) report on international religious freedom, reports from the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom, and reports from several groups that monitor international religious freedom or serve Christians in Ukraine, including Mission Eurasia’s 2025 Faith Under Russian Terror report released at the 2025 International Religious Freedom Summit in February.

“The fundamental cause of freedom of religion or belief and other human rights violations in Russian-occupied Ukrainian territory is Russia’s invasion and occupation from 2014 onwards of Ukraine,” Forum 18 wrote. “Until Russia’s occupation of Ukrainian territory is ended, the freedom of religion or belief and other human rights violations seem set to continue.”

Since Russia’s invasion in February 2022, it has also illegally annexed additional territory, now occupying a fifth of Ukraine, Forum 18 said.

The report comes as efforts to reach a peace agreement with Russia have included U.S. speculations that Russia would retain the land it illegally occupies in Ukraine, although no agreement has been reached.

Russia attacked Ukraine’s energy infrastructure with dozens of missiles and drones late March 6 and into the next morning, the Associated Press reported March 7, killing at least 10 individuals, striking residences and cutting power to homes as well as weapons factories.

Concurrently, the Trump administration suspended military aid and intelligence to Ukraine, including access to satellite imagery that could help Ukraine answer Russia’s fire, the AP said, citing sources at the U.S. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. More Here

Years ago Billy Graham answered a question on why America should send money to countries like Africa. This is how he answered…….

We sometimes forget that Jesus Himself was very poor, and so were His disciples. On one occasion, He said, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head” (Luke 9:58).

After all, He could have chosen to come into this world as a rich man–for He was God, and the whole world belonged to Him. But He didn’t, and one reason was because He wanted to show His compassion for the whole human race, rich and poor alike. And if we are His followers we should have that same kind of compassion. Centuries before Christ was born, God commanded His people “to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land” (Deuteronomy 15:11).

I’m thankful for the work governments and others are doing to fight poverty and disease in many parts of the world; the task is too great for any one agency. But Christians should be in the forefront–and one reason is because they come with compassion, and with the good news of Christ’s power to change lives.

Pray for Christian groups that seek to bring Christ’s love and mercy to those who hurt. (My son Franklin’s organization, Samaritan’s Purse, is one of them.) And be generous in your giving. Above all, ask God to help you see the world the way He sees it, with all of its misery and despair–but also with hope in Christ. More Here
