One reason God has given us human government is to restrain evil. Have you ever heard the phrase; “You can’t legislate morality”? That is absolutely true. You can’t legislate morality. There is not a law on earth that can make you moral. That’s the reason we must have laws that legislate against immorality. Law can’t make you good, only God can make you good. The government is not here to make you good.
There’s not a law on earth that can make you love me. So, I have to have one to keep you from killing me. There’s not a law on earth that can make you honest, so we have to have laws that keep you from stealing. There’s not a law on earth that can keep you from lying, so we have to have laws against perjury. Romans 7:7 says: “What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, ‘You shall not covet.’” The role of government and law has its place. We have all learned from it and are called to abide by it—not to get God’s favor but to glorify God in the way we live for Him.

I have warned about the meltdown of society in Albuquerque for years and it is getting worse here. I had trouble getting to a meeting yesterday because of the chaos on Montgomery Boulevard. Many in Albuquerque are numb to this evil. They do not know what to do, so they do nothing. The answer is JESUS! I call this a JESUS EMERGENCY!
The Church is failing to stop this evil! Whatever happened to carrying out The Great Commission? It seems to me the Church loves walls and independence more than facing the truth of this evil. It is way beyond time to hit the streets and minister to all. So many people here need JESUS! So many never get an opportunity to live a good life with JESUS. It is a generational problem. Children are born into violence. They never get an opportunity to be baptized, never get to go to Sunday School, and never get a chance to succeed in life.
I have stated this until I am blue in the face: New Mexico kills God’s babies through abortion. NEW ABORTION CENTER IN NEW MEXICO. This teaches us all that the state does not value God’s babies. The Church should be ashamed of itself for allowing this evil. The state legalized marijuana – I guess that was to improve life here? Home delivery of booze? DWI scandal? My goodness!
Francis Shaeffer said, “Every abortion clinic should have a sign in front of it saying, “Open by the permission of the church.”
In Albuquerque, the three largest Churches garner around 30,000 folks each weekend. BUT! They never work together. The Church here lacks unity! The Church should be in mourning instead of posting on Facebook how they are so great! There is only One who is great! That is GOD ALIMGHTY!
People need to see JESUS in you. People need to be shown the love and ways of JESUS.

Enemy attack? There was a time in my life when I had no enemies. Once I began ministry, however, that changed. It should come as no surprise that many who serve God in full-time ministry become targets of demonic assaults, especially those who serve in regions where the powers of darkness are commonplace.
But enemy attacks are by no means limited to those dark corners of the world. The adversary is working overtime anywhere he can find a relational rift to exploit or a habitual sin to manipulate. How grateful I am for this song in Scripture. It, like few other scriptural passages, comes to grips with enemy attacks and gives us hope to get beyond them. More Here

WHY SO MUCH EVIL??? Don’t just “play church.” Take action.
“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts” Eph 4:17-18.
The Scriptures call the mind of the natural man “blinded” 2 Cor. 4:4, “depraved” Romans 1:28, “corrupt” 1 Tim. 6:5, and “unspiritual” Col. 2:18. The natural mind thinks from a humanistic, sin-debased viewpoint. The viewpoint of the flesh directs its thoughts. The sinful mind is under the control of Satan and can never please God because it concentrates on things of the world and not things of the Spirit. The natural mind walks the road of hopelessness and self-destruction.

What’s a Biblical Worldview?
A biblical worldview is based on the infallible Word of God. When you believe the Bible is entirely true, then you allow it to be the foundation of everything you say and do. That means, for instance, you take seriously the mandate in Romans 13 to honor the governing authorities by researching the candidates and issues, making voting a priority.
Do you have a Biblical Worldview? Answer the following questions, based on claims found in the Bible and which George Barna used in his survey:
- Do absolute moral truths exist?
- Is absolute truth defined by the Bible?
- Did Jesus Christ live a sinless life?
- Is God the all-powerful and all-knowing Creator of the universe, and does He still rule it today?
- Is salvation a gift from God that cannot be earned?
- Is Satan real?
- Does a Christian have a responsibility to share his or her faith in Christ with other people?
- Is the Bible accurate in all of its teachings?
Did you answer yes to these? Only nine (9) percent of “born- again” believers did. But what’s more important than your ‘yes’ to these questions is whether your life shows it. Granted, we are all sinners and fall short, but most of our gut reactions will reflect what we deep-down, honest-to-goodness believe to be real and true.
So many Americans have become fools! Foolish and evil behavior is spreading like wildfire all over!
