OOPS! A BIG OOPS…
I pray that President Trump and Musk slow down a bit. We used to say back in the day…….foam the runway before you make changes and tell your staff. I am greatly bothered that Musk has gained such access to the keys of the Kingdom! My goodness! He was not elected by us or vetted by Congress!
The Democrats are such a mess; never have seen such a worthless political party. America is, effectively, down to one party – which is not good. Americans deserve better! One party rule is not good! What would Ross Perot do? Teddy Roosevelt started a third party way back when? How about the Tea party?
To succeed as a nation, we must not be under one party rule. We went from a disastrous Biden administration to this? As days go by, I am hearing from more and more people about their concern about the chaos in D.C. Many folks I meet are concerned about so many changes, too quickly, and the power that Musk has. Musk has no business at looking into the files of peoples taxes and messing with private information! Even dog catchers have to be vetted! Come on! My goodness!
President Trump promised unity in America, we are far from it; we are still a very, very divided nation.
President Trump must build bridges of love and trust with those who do not trust him. You cannot just take a gigantic wrecking ball and knock down so many people and their jobs. Foam the runway. Talk to us. Give us more information. Address the nation. We do not need more sound bites by the press; we need to hear from you (President Trump).
Just one more note: America is in deep trouble; Christianity is falling. The Church was hit hard like all of America by COVID-19, politics, and all the hate that follows. The Church has many self-inflicted wounds which have not healed because of its politics. Many Churches are limping along with 10 to 40 members. Many Churches have not had a baptism in years!
Politics has played a big role in the downward trend of Christianity in America. Sharon and I hear it as we travel carrying out the Great Commission. Many Americans identify Churches by their political party affiliations, rather that their belief in JESUS! You must watch the George Barna video I have posted! Please have your Pastor watch it.
I am sick and tired of Facebook. I post one little bit of disagreement with President Trump and I get attacked. The best one yet was, “[i]f you do not like it, move!” Okay then…that came from a person who calls herself a Christian. UGLY STUFF! I would leave social media in a New York minute, but the LORD says not now.
Whatever happened to being able to ‘agree to disagree’? Whatever happened to being civil with each other? Lord have mercy!
Do I now live in America where if I disagree with others, I get hate? Politics stinks like hell in this country. We strive to bring a Biblical Worldview, not a political worldview, but then again, just 4% of Americans have a Biblical Worldview. Now, that is a funeral.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration has halted the firings of hundreds of federal employees who were tasked with working on the nation’s nuclear weapons programs, in an about-face that has left workers confused and experts cautioning that DOGE’s blind cost cutting will put communities at risk.
Three U.S. officials who spoke to The Associated Press said up to 350 employees at the National Nuclear Security Administration were abruptly laid off late Thursday, with some losing access to email before they’d learned they were fired, only to try to enter their offices on Friday morning to find they were locked out.
