Lots of work to do here in New Mexico to make sure our children get a solid education. Chip Lupo of WalletHub states, “The most educated states provide high-quality educational experiences from elementary school all the way to graduate programs.” That surely is where New Mexico fails. So tragic, decades of failure here in New Mexico. New Mexico needs to raise more ‘Spiritual Campions.’ Please watch the video below.
I believe there is a strong correlation between not getting a good education and teenage crime. The state has so many dysfunctional families, teenagers with guns, drugs, booze, and other evil. The Church is failing in reaching many families. Many children never get the opportunity to attend Sunday school and be baptized.
This is a multifaceted problem that really never gets addressed in a serious way. It is a JESUS problem. A heart for JESUS starts in the family. You cannot regulate morality. More laws will not solve this failure.
Sometimes when I challenge New Mexico, and even the Church, it feels like I am talking to a wall. Sad, but true. New Mexico kills God’s babies through abortion and gunfire, and it expects to be blessed?

For millions of Americans, a good education is the ticket to a better future. College opens doors to more career opportunities, higher earnings and new social connections, among other benefits.
But how much schooling one receives also matters to some extent. Generally, the higher the level of education one completes, the higher their income potential and the lower their chances of unemployment become.
Some states are able to provide better quality education than others, though. In this study, WalletHub compared all 50 states across 18 metrics that examined the key factors of a well-educated population: educational attainment, school quality and achievement gaps between genders and races.
