A Simple Thanks…
Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Happy Thursday! I try to be a person that says thank you. Everyone is in such a hurry these days and we all are people running through airports, through stores, through everyday life really. We are all living a very busy life.
Thankful Thursday is here once again. We all know the story in Luke 17:14-16 where God healed the lepers. Only one came back to say thank you. I always like to take things a step further. I don’t know why I do the things I do sometimes, but it’s just in me. Even when I pray and bring my petitions to God, I give him thanks for hearing me, for answering me, for his favor on my life, for his healing, for all that he has done and is going to do even before he does it. Until I go to be with him, I am going to be one that comes back not only on thankful Thursday but every day of my life. How about you? Can you slow down a few moments today and say thanks to the man that holds the whole world in his hands?

Father, thank you for all you have done for me, for us. For every prayer you answered, for every prayer you withheld for my own good, for our own good.
Father, thank you for the doors of opportunities you have provided. Thank you for the open doors ahead. You continue to light the path before us, oh God.
Father, thank you for the many books to come, the movies, the blessing of the work of my hands. Father, thank you for raising up my children and grandchildren to be mighty men and women of God, walking in your blessing.
Father, we could give you thanks all day just for your love alone. May you highlight the day before us and may we always return to give you thanks. Actually, Good Father, we are going to thank you in advance for the blessing of the day, because your Emmanuel God with us. (Matthew 1:23) Amen.
