According to an exclusive Fox News report, President-elect Trump is prepared to sign more than 200 executive actions tomorrow, January 20, 2025 (Inauguration Day), which represents a massive, first wave of policy priorities focused on border security, energy, reducing the cost of living for American families, and ending DEI programs across the federal government.

A senior official who is familiar with the executive actions and authorized to brief Fox News Digital said that on Day One Trump will end “catch and release” (at the U.S/Mexico border); pause all offshore wind turbine leases; terminate the electric vehicle mandate; abolish the Green New Deal; withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord; and take several major steps to assert presidential control over the federal bureaucracy.

The Fox News report may be read in full HERE.

My brothers and sisters, it goes without saying that every person is entitled to his or her opinion, but in the view of this writer, Trump’s policy decisions (at least as reported by Fox News) will return the country to a more predictable, financially efficient and traditional track.

Perhaps most notably (and needed) is Trump’s reported intention, on Day One, to suspend the governmental security clearances for the 51 national security officials who “lied” about the now-verified legitimacy of Hunter Biden’s laptop ahead of the 2020 presidential election and still held in the possession of the FBI.

As a former federal investigator, and regardless of the political views held by those national security leaders, it is unconscionable to tarnish the integrity of the justice system and the various federal agencies represented by such persons.  The damage, as evidenced by the gross mistrust of most federal agencies by the public, is the fruit, in part, of such deception (the lie).

The Bible tells us that intentionally fibbing, lying, manipulating or omitting truthful information is contrary to Bible, including the Ten Commandments, and is unfitting for anyone – least of all for those of us who are followers of Jesus:

Exodus 20:16 (Amplified Bible)
“You shall not testify falsely [that is, lie, withhold, or manipulate the truth] against your neighbor (any person).”

The Bible tells us that those who walk with integrity and moral character will be secure, but punishment comes to those who choose the crooked way (the way of untruth):

Proverbs 10:9 (Amplified Bible)
“He who walks in integrity and with moral character walks securely, [b]ut he who takes a crooked way will be discovered and punished.”

Let’s pray for the safety of all tomorrow, including the invited guests and security personnel putting their own lives on the line, as President-elect Trump becomes President Trump once again.  Lord, we ask for your supernatural protection, in Jesus’ name:

Psalm 18:30 (NLT)
“God’s way is perfect.  All the Lord’s promises prove true.  He is a shield for all who look to [H]im for protection.”

Praise Jesus forevermore!
