A Multi-Agency Task Force (MATF) is currently investigating a police encounter that resulted in the death of a man overnight.
Officers from the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a 911 call on Thursday shortly after 7:00 PM at an apartment complex. The complex is located at 6200 Indian School Rd NE. The caller said he was armed with a knife and he told 911 that people were shooting at him. The individual disclosed a diagnosis of schizophrenia and expressed intentions to kill someone. More Here
