Dear Pastor, Is your Church having a godly influence on your city or town? Do you see a tangible change of behavior, a movement of godly behavior? If not, why not?
Writing about this news causes me great distress. I have always had deep respect for law enforcement. If you are a regular reader of FGGAM, you know that. It makes me very sick that a bunch of law breakers stain the badge of my heroes.
Say it ain’t true…….”Say it ain’t so, Joe.” is a phrase referencing baseball player Shoeless Joe Jackson and his involvement in the Black Sox Scandal.
So many drunk drivers have been set free because of this scandal. Pure shame. Those guilty have stained their departments. This corruption has been going on for years…..Just think, in a state that has a severe drunk diving problem …..many never faced a judge. So many here have been killed by drunk drivers…1 John 3:4 says that sin is lawlessness, or rebellion and disobedience. Repentance and change of behavior needs to take place for so many here in New Mexico, a state that kills God’s babies. Should I mention all those children harmed by the state agency, CYFD? Repentance is the act of acknowledging and regretting past or present wrongdoings, and then committing to change. It can also means turning away from sin and living a life of holiness. New Mexico has never changed its bad behavior in all the years we have lived here.
As I have said for years, New Mexico is a very dark place.
The lid of this corruption has been blown off…….
What a huge setback for all of us in New Mexico. I am numb. I am so very sad. This scandal runs very, very deep……..
