As I write this report it is 7 above in Taylor Ranch at 5:43am. What can you and I do for the homeless. Are there Churches that can open their doors to the homeless? We have a homeless camp by Mariposa Park in a culvert that has popped up. I will go over there today to see what I can do. The bathrooms in Mariposa Park are shutdown for the winter, the homeless have no bathrooms to go to. We have a crisis on our hands. I pray no one freezes to death.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Temperatures are cold across New Mexico and are expected to drop even lower. For many, that means layering up and putting the heat on in your house. But for thousands of New Mexicans, they don’t have that luxury. So leaders with the City of Albuquerque are trying to help out.
Right now, the city’s cold weather sheltering plan is in place. Meaning, more beds and shelters are available to anyone who needs it. But according to the city’s shelter bed tracker, Gateway Center, Gateway West and Family Gateway are all full. More Here

God Questions states: The book of wisdom, Proverbs, lays down the principle of giving to the poor and attaches it to a blessing: “Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done” (Proverbs 19:17). Those who refuse to help the poor will find themselves on the losing end: “Those who give to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to them receive many curses” (Proverbs 28:27).
