A Heart of Thanks and Praise
Having a thankful heart can change the way you see life. It opens you to enter into God’s blessings, His peace and joy. Having a thankful heart will touch the heart of God. When we are thankful, God’s goodness touches our lives and showers us with more of His blessings.
We are called to give thanks to the Lord because He is good and His love endures forever.
When we truly grasp the depth of His love for us, we cannot help but overflow with thanksgiving.
In Acts 16:25 Paul and Silas took God’ words seriously.
About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.
Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody’s chains came loose.
That speaks volume to me. Whenever you are going through always give him thanks and praise through it all. We can learn a lesson from Paul and Silas that is what they did and then they got their suddenly and they were free.
Whenever you are in a place of discouragement or you are facing challenges in your life, be thankful and things will start shaken off of you and you will get your suddenly and you will be set free!
So always remember to give thanks in every situation knowing that even in the mist of challenges God is at work.
Hebrews 12:28 Therefore since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken let us be thankful and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.
God’s kingdom cannot be shaken, but the enemy’s kingdom can be shaken when we have a heart of thankfulness, of thanks and praise.
2 Corinthians 2:14 But thanks be to God who always lead us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusts in him and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
Psalm 75:1 We give thanks to you, O God we give thanks, for your Name is near men tell of your wonderful deeds.
Lord, may we will have a thankful heart towards you; we give you thanks and praise in all our circumstances. You are our deliverer and source and our strength. We will experience our ‘suddenly’ for we have the victory. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Be blessed and encouraged today by the Word of God!
