When The Pumpkins Turn White…

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. Today is the 303rd day of the year. As I was driving home on Sunday, the blanket of white snow was falling from the sky and was covering the County of Aroostook. I talked with God about it being October and it seemed a little early for the white stuff from the sky. It was beautiful, but a little early for this girl.

I then realized my dream of a rolldown convertible probably wasn’t going to happen this year and my orange pumpkins were probably now white. It doesn’t change a thing really. Every day is a gift from God no matter the season we are in.

I decided sometime ago now that I was going to enjoy every day and live it to the fullest. God’s Word tells us that this is the day the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24

We can never get today back, so let’s decide to live today and every day the very best we can. Let’s make up our minds to be happy even when are days are less than perfect. When our pumpkins turn white and the sun doesn’t shine, he is still God and he is with us.  Amen? Amen!

Let’s Pray:

Father, thank you that to everything there is a season. There is a time for everything under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 3:1) We thank you that the joy of the Lord is our strength. (Nehemiah 8:10). No matter what comes our way today or in the future, we can rest assured you hold our future. Our lives are in your hands.

Father, thank you today for the grace to trust you more. You said to trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not to our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge you and you will direct our paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Thank you for directing our paths.

We rest assured today that you see right where we are at and you are saying, no worries my child. I hold the keys to your destiny. We say thank you Father, we believe! Amen.

Stay blessed beautiful people and enjoy your day! He holds your future.

The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man (woman) availeth much. James 5:16
