The TRUTH About Christopher Columbus. I grew up with Christopher Columbus being one of my heroes. I found this podcast very interesting. I have been very sad over the past years how many try to erase our history, like tearing down statues. History is still my favorite subjects, always was in school. You may not agree with these gentleman, but they do bring out many good points. Our history is full of good and bad, we can learn from our history, if we want. It seems many Americans do not.

A biography of Columbus was written by Washington Irving in 1828, titled A History of the Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus.

In it, Irving created an imaginative dialogue of Europeans arguing over whether the Earth was round or flat. His book was so popular, that people actually thought such a debate took place when it had not.
