Prayers For Time Of Disaster

Good morning beautiful people, good morning. The storm Helene has brought some devastation to parts of our world. The storm is over, but the results will have impact for years to come. I think of the families that lost loved ones in this hurricane this morning.  I am sure there are a lot of grieving hearts from loss. Let’s ask the God of all comfort to embrace them. Let’s ask him to send them help. They need our prayers this morning.

Let’s Pray:

Father, we pray for peace, for comfort for where there has been destruction in our nation. Thank you for wrapping your arms around every person suffering this morning. Send them help, oh God, from on high according to your Word.

Father, you are our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) We pray strength for everyone dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Helene. You heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3) Let it be so, oh God for everyone impacted by this storm.

Father, you rebuild ancient ruins in people’s live according to Isaiah 61. Thank you for rebuilding in the lives of these beautiful people. May the God of comfort, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, be ever present and close to the broken. Meet their needs, oh God, the maker of heaven and earth. You know every detail and see every person’s devastation this morning. We bring them to you Oh God and ask that you make a way for every person, every family. For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says ” Do not fear; I will help you”. Isaiah 41:13. Thank you for sending help from on high. Amen.

Have a blessed day God’s most beautiful people. Be thankful for what you have. Help someone today, because you can.
