Well beloved, we’re in another election year, and it is becoming too typical for us in the past few election years that we begin to experience a rise in evil activities here in America during campaigns. Furthermore, it is broadly believed that much of this violence is planned and purchased to frighten and confuse. Violence on the rise tends to make many good citizens fearful.
Please remember, it is frequently in the most difficult of times that God is seen doing His mightiest of acts of deliverance and rescue. “God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind!”
In this year, do not be anxious for what evil may be coming, rather, “trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths” under His mighty wings of protection. “Watch and pray” in caution, and yes, Pray On!
