You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Matthew 24:6-8

This passage contains Christ’s prophecy to His disciples about what’s happening in the world just prior to His return.

From the very beginning, after the resurrection, folks talked about the end of time.

The moment Christ arose, the countdown started.

Throughout the years and generations, the end of times were discussed. I remember in the 70s when I became a Christian, there was a rapture movement… mainly those thinking it was time!

Many came to the Lord during this time. Looking back now, I consider it a revival of sorts.

Christ taught His disciples what to watch for before He returns.

“So you also, when you see these things happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away”

Luke 21:31-33

“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Luke 21:36

We can all agree on one thing. Times are worse than ever before. The lawlessness now, is absolutely heart wrenching.

Abortion at will, murder, occultism and witchcraft, disobedience to parents. Hearts are growing cold and hard and the list goes on and on and on.

One of the biggest lies from satan, directly from the pit of hell, is denying Jesus is the only way to the Father. When in fact, Christ himself said that He was the only way!

He’s not one among many ways, he’s the only way!

Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

John 14:6

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

2 Timothy 3:1-5

So, when I hear of 3 earthquakes in just a few days, or when war breaks out or when there’s disease and pestilence…My spiritual antenna’s go up. And rightly so.

We wait expectantly!

Wait for the Lord.  Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord!”

Psalm 27:14

Many Blessing’s,

Connie
